Welcome! I am a seasoned Christian Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a great deal of medical, psychiatric background and life experience. I am from New Hampshire and reside now in Florida part-time. I am licensed in Multiple states around our beautiful United States. Currently in New Jersey, New Hampshire and Florida. I love, love what I do and the patients that I serve. I am a woman of faith (love the Lord) and a believer, and help patients through life's challenges with therapy, spiritual guidance, and medications, if needed. That does not always mean giving patients what they want but what they need, to have optimal functioning of their mental health, physical health, spiritual health, and social needs. I believe less medication is better and starting low and slow, if it is needed. I recommend patients seek therapy for specific issues in their lives. My specialties are Mood disorders, Attention Deficit, PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, Schizophrenia, Sleep management issues and Spiritual counseling. I do not specialize specifically in gender issues and LBGQ life choices and recommend my patients seek prescribers educated to their specific needs. I am in a long-term relationship with my Dachshund named Sammy and a Beagle named Mr. Cooper and our new edition, Peanut AKA Murder Mittens. They make my life full and enjoyable and have trained me well! I enjoy gardening, fellowship and canning. I will explore how to better understand your thought process and how they affect your life and daily functioning. I will ask about physical issues, challenges and spiritual life. My methods are CBT, DBT, EBP prescribing, Minimal benzodiazepines, if any and healthy boundaries, Humor, and a great deal of teaching to address lifestyle challenges that impair optimal spiritual and mental health.
